Our intention is to develop a thoughtful approach to music education, understanding music not merely as a sonic activity, but in the full breadth of the individual experience. It will be a slow, gradual, and conscious process, seeking to cultivate an intimate relationship with musicality, with silence, with listening, and with the instrument itself. Throughout the process, we will deepen our understanding of different aspects of the berimbau de barriga, its sound, its foundations, and its musical possibilities.
